Practice Fees
Please note AKMD Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice. Our fees for consultations and other medical services can be seen below.
New patients fees are $75 (bulk billing only for Children under 16)
Saturday appointments are privately billed (bulk billing only for children)

Payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit card (surcharge applies) or eftpos and is required at the time of consultation.
Medicare rebates can also be processed at the time of consultation when paying by eftpos. This will be paid into either your cheque or savings account if you have registered this information with Medicare.
Please note that a small fee may be charged to cover costs for procedures, dressings and some vaccines.
MVPID and Workers Compensation fees are to be paid at time of consultation until liability is accepted by insurance companies.
Appointments on Saturday will be charged to everyone (bulk billing ONLY for children under 16).

Recovery of Fees – The debtor/s shall pay for all costs actually incurred by AKMD Medical Centre in the recovery of any monies owed under this Agreement including recovery agent costs, repossession costs, location search costs, process server costs and solicitor costs on a solicitor/client basis.
